Here is a jazzy yet down home version of "The Fishin' Hole," the theme song for the Andy Griffith Show. Rich arranged this hooky tune with a quarter note bass line in a quasi "Chet" style with the melody in two octaves for diversity. Because of it repetition in the melody this bouncy arrangement is a great introduction to walking bass lines for those just starting down that road. This happy, novelty song is familiar to most everyone and is a pleasant change in your fingerstyle set.
